Gorham Savings Bank (1) hosts Good News Bad News from Gorham Maine, in the greater Portland area. We have an outstanding team of 200 employees across 9 branches in southern Maine, an operations center in Gorham which also houses our Business Banking group, and a presence in Portland that includes a Commercial Lending center, Turner Barker Insurance (2), and two branches (which we call “Stores”).
Our people really like working here. Some of us have been in the community banking world for their whole careers, and others have actively moved from the larger banking institutions because we wanted the same kind of personal, rewarding experience that our customers enjoy. There are others still who have come to us from non financial industries which give us additional perspective on the world outside of banking.
